Privacy Policy
“kaushik.vasudev@gmail.com" ("RAIB") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- Account details: name, email, phone, and for school students their school, class and RAIB Student ID.
- Learning data: lessons completed, quiz answers and progress.
- Studio requests: the photos, names, stories and links you send so we can make your creation.
- Surprise links: the names and message you enter, and the answers the recipient chooses to give.
- Payments: order and payment references from Razorpay. We never receive your full card, UPI PIN or bank details.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and cookies needed to keep you logged in and the site secure.
Why we use it
To provide courses, school programs and Studio creations; to process payments; to send you order updates and login details; to keep the platform safe; and, with your consent, to tell you about new courses and offers.
Children
For students under 18 we process data only with verifiable consent from a parent, guardian or the school acting for them. We do not show targeted advertising to children or track them for advertising.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers who help us run RAIB (such as hosting on Amazon Web Services, email delivery and Razorpay for payments), with your school for school programs, or when the law requires it. A surprise link recipient's answers are shared with the person who sent the link, and the recipient is told this before answering.
How long we keep it
Account and learning data is kept while your account is active. Studio photos are deleted within 90 days of delivery unless you ask us to keep them. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, by contacting us. If you're not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS), private files are not publicly accessible, and access is limited to staff who need it.
